This is a 1 hour 17 minute recording of just ocean sounds (no whispering). I recorded this on the same day and at the same beach as “Bonus 51: Busy Beach – vacation rambles.”
I knew that during the recording of my whispers on the beach that I was too far from the ocean for the ocean sounds to be clearly recorded.
So l waited for later in the day for the tide to come in and then I recorded just the sounds of the ocean. There were still some adults and kids squawking, talking, and yelling – but I edited all that out so you can have a calm and pure ocean sound experience.
I hope you enjoy this, Harris : )
P.S. Here are more 1 Hour (and 8 Hour) nature sounds that I have recorded, and they sound even better because I used much higher quality microphones: https://www.patreon.com/sleepwithsilk
My first beach whispering on a busy beach. You will hear my whispering, ocean sounds, and beach sounds.
My whispering: I recorded this while I was on vacation last week so I am mostly whispering about my vacation travels and activities during that week. Mundane stuff that you can try to visualize and fall asleep to.
Ocean sounds: I was far from the water so it sounds mostly likely white noise. You won’t hear distinct waves or surf but you will hear the gentle wind around me.
Beach sounds: I recorded this with two microphones, so these sounds should be in stereo and sound 3-D (best heard with headphones). My favorite background sounds in this recording are the children yelling and playing – made me smile when I listened to it during editing. You will also hear adults talking on cell phones, adults talking to each other, the tok-tok-tok sounds of beach paddle ball, feet running or walking in the sand around me, several airplanes flying overhead, and near the end someone starts playing music in the distance.
A new and experimental episode type called, “Graph Time.”
Graph Time episodes will involve me drawing something on a piece of graph paper and describing it to you. This episode will introduce you to the premise of themed Town Centers which may be a future type of Graph Time episode.
*Caution* You will hear the sound of pencil drawing near the end of the episode. When I listened to the final recording, I didn’t find the sound very relaxing. I may try a different method of drawing in the next Graph Time episode.
L Frank Baum returns! Have you ever wondered the full story behind the nursery rhyme, Little Miss Muffet?
L Frank Baum has written a wonderful fictional back story to explain : Who is Little Miss Muffet? What is a tuffet? Why was she eating curds and where do curds come from? Why was she frightened by a spider?
It all comes to light thanks to our old buddy L Frank Baum.
I read the first 5 Chapters of Genesis from the Old Testament. This covers the creation of the heavens and earth, the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve, the descendants of Adam and Eve (including Cain and Abel), and ends with the introduction of Noah. The source is The World English Bible.
